Tuna is in short supply due to overfishing. Japanese restaurants can’t get enough tuna to make sushi. What do you do? You look for substitutes. Hmmm. What to use. Another fish? No. How about horse? Perfect. Raw horse sushi. Just doesn’t seem right to me. However, it will give Andrew Zimmern something new to try on his Bizzare Foods show.

This doesn’t come as a surprise to me at all. I have only been there a handful of times and it is never busy.

People are way too tired these days. Pepsi is stepping in to help by releasing Pepsi Max. Finally a soft drink with more caffeine and the added power of ginseng. Just what America needs. Personally I don’t need anymore caffeine. I could use some more sleep. When are the going to bottle that?

Many people think that the bottled water they are drinking comes from some untainted glacial fed iceberg springs found deep in a tropical forest guarded by leprechauns. More often than not it is tap water in a bottle. Aquafina has finally said its water comes from the same source as the tap water you get from your sink.

Do you like being cold? Do you like being naked and cold? If you answered “yes” to both of these I have a great opportunity for you. Greenpeace in an effort to shed more light on the global warming problem is in need of volunteers to strip down and have their picture taken on a glacier. According to Greenpeace if the global warming trend continues the glaciers in Switzerland will be disappear by 2080. Head on over to the Greenpeace website to check it out if you are interested. Just remember to watch your goolies if you go. You don’t want them sticking to the ice. Another reminder- the glacier might not be the only thing shrinking when you are naked on the glacier so if you are planning to use this to pick up women you might want to think twice.

Another case of someone releasing or “losing” their pet python. This time it has turned up in an unexpected place- a woman’s cabinet. Last time it was a 14 footer in a Florida mans backyard. This time it is a 3 foot ball python that is in someones cabinet.

This site calculates your homes Walk Score . It looks at nearby restaurants, grocery stores, schools, parks and anything else important to people. The top score is 100. I entered my home address to find out my walkability. My walkability score=0. There are no services near my home. You need to drive everywhere. I already knew this but now I have proof positive.

In news of the creepy Oscar the cat lives at a nursing home. Oscar has in 25 cases predicted the imminent death of some of the homes patients. The cat makes its rounds searching for people on deaths door. When it finds the right person it curls up next to them. A few hours later…dead patient. Does this cat have the uncanny ability to detect people about to cross over or is it stealing their breath and giving them that extra little push into the afterlife. Something to think about.
