The Lazy Drinker Cocktail Dispenser

July 25th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

This item seems perfect for me.  I am lazy and I like to drink.  The Lazy Drinker is a computer controlled cocktail dispensing system. I don’t know how well this works but I would like to try it. They come fully assembled or as a kit.  It can hold 16 ingredients and a computer mixes the ingredients so you have perfectly measured and blended cocktails each and every time. The drink database has over 5,000 drinks. It uses Co2 and pressured gas to mix the drinks. What a fantastic invention. I would like to hear from someone who has tried this to see how it works.

Souls of Purgatory

July 25th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

I recently was traveling in Phillipsburg, St. Maarten.  It was raining so I took cover in an old church.  While looking around I saw a box that said “Souls of Purgatory.”  I didn’t know you could buy your way out of Purgatory but I thought what the hell and tossed in a few coins.  This might be the extra push I need to make it into heaven.

John Cow’s Feed Your Feed

July 22nd, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

The idea is simple: You want readers and you want link backs too because that’s all us bloggers want, it’s more precious than milk for some :twisted:So how does it work?

Simple! You just copy the list down below on your blog, hence creating link backs for your blogging friends and then click the RSS feed link to subscribe to all of them. Then you add yourself and up to 5 other bloggers and their feeds to the list before you publish it on your own blog. Show your friends some link love :)

Just imagine if just 10 people would do this and then 10 more after them. That would get your blog 100 extra link backs and 100 extra feed subscribers!

The Original List:

Not in the list? Don’t worry, you can grab it, publish it and if we get a pingback, we’ll add you to this list too!

Man Attacked by Tiger Shark in Hawaii

July 21st, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

A guy snorkeling in Honolulu was bitten on the leg by a Tiger Shark not a great way to start a vacation. He was snorkeling looking for turtles when an eight foot shark took a bite out of him. Two partially eaten turtles were found washed ashore. Just a tip for snorkelers. If you find partially eaten turtles on shore there is a pretty good chance something is preying on them. I would turn around and head for the pool.

Doomsday Clock

July 21st, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

The Doomsday Clock was started in 1947 by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists at the University of Chicago. The clock represents how far humanity is from destroying itself with midnight representing destruction. It was originally developed during the nuclear threat and minutes have been added and taken away based on political factors throughout the world. Environment and technology along with nuclear threats are now factored into movement of the clock. On 1/17/07 the clock was moved from seven minutes to five minutes. Who do we have to thank for the time change- the usual suspects the U.S., Russia, Iran and North Korea as well as any number of terrorist groups trying to get their hands on a bomb. We also have climate change to thank. Robots do not pose a great threat to humanity…yet.

500 Pound Bomb Found in Florida Field

July 20th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

Earlier this week I posted a story about a python in a Florida man’s backyard.  A few days later we have a live World War II era bomb found in field.  No one is sure how it got there.  Danger lurks everywhere.

Skunk Ape vs. Chupacabra

July 20th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

Today I read that the Chupacabra which first appeared in Puerto Rico has made an appearance in south Florida.  How exactly does an as yet unidentified blood sucking creature make its way from Puerto Rico to Florida?  Can chupacabras fly long distances?  Perhaps it stowed away on a cruise ship and jumped ashore in Miami or Tamps.  If I were a skunk ape I would be pissed.  You work hard earning street cred as a skunk smellin’ missing link ape creature only to have this goatsucker show up and steal your headlines.  It just goes to confirm my theory that sooner or later everything ends up in Florida.  I expect the Loch Ness Monster will be showing up any day now.

Captain America Apologizes

July 19th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

Even superheros have to apologize if they misbehave.  If you missed the original story a doctor dressed as Captain America groped some woman.  He was arrested in full costume and charged with misdemeanor battery, disorderly conduct, possession and resisting.  He has agreed to apologize to the woman in hopes that he won’t have to stand trial.  I wonder if he has to apologize in costume?
