This is one of the easiest drinks to make.   

1/2 pint of ale or lager (I like Bass Ale)

1/2 pint of cider (I usually use Strongbow as it is readily available at the local market)

Pour 1/2 pint of each into a beer mug and enjoy.  If you are trying to earn extra points for presentation you can always layer the drink.  I don’t bother.  The two drinks are very similar in color and in this case isn’t worth the effort.
