Skull A Day

The Skull-A-Day blog is a great site. They are posting a new skull picture every day for a year. It is even more timely now that Halloween is approaching. A few years back The Big Fez and I put these together over the course of a weekend.
The skulls were gleaming white out of the box and we aged them. Then we cut holes in the neck and mounted them on sticks. We placed raffia on the base of the skulls. I added the bottle caps in the eye sockets after a few beers. I thought it added an extra touch of class. It took a few hours but it was well worth the effort and they turned out great. They still get used every year for our annual Halloween party.

they are in need of refurbishment- at least the 2 that I have in my possession are. #3 is still high on top of a plant shelf. I need to get it back before it is sold on eBay along with the rest of his worldly posessions

The Big Fez likes to remain shrouded in mystery but he was in my wedding and it is not Doug or Todd.
