Halloween is just not Halloween without a few television specials. When I was younger it seems that there were a lot more prime time Halloween specials. Not so much anymore. Sure every show has a Halloween episode but that is not the same. I am talking about the prime time cartoon Halloween specials like Garfield, Fat Albert and of course the classic It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Tonight ABC is airing the Great Pumpkin. I will be watching. I still don’t care for the whole World War I flying ace part but I love watching Charlie Brown get rocks when he is trick or treating. I think this year I might hand out rocks. A bag of lava rocks is a lot cheaper than a bag of candy.

Have faith. Mrs. Mai Tai hands out the rocks. I will be in my ghillie suit hiding in the bushes. Any rock throwers will be in for a surprise when leap out of the bushes and spray them with the hose.
