Make Your Own Halloween Mask

October 31st, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

Who can help you with your last minute Halloween costume?  Microsoft can.  That’s right I said Microsoft.  They have directions on their site on how to make your  own Halloween mask.  The instructions are all on the site.  If you have waited until the last minute check it out.  You can also download the most recent security patches while you are there.

Happy Halloween

Making masks the way Microsoft suggests can be very creepy — a few years back, I had snapped a picture of a coworker mid-sentence, so he was neither posed nor smiling. I did it with the intention of photoshopping his head on something else — but I thought I’d print it out and make a mask. Then I then put on my at-the-time 3-year-old daughter. A mid-sentence 30-something male face on a three-foot-tall body, weating a ‘daddy’s little princess’ t-shirt, is disturbing.
