Burger King Greeting Cards

Burger King has announced that they have come up with a licensing agreement to create Burger King branded greeting cards. A Burger King representative says

Is there anyone that passionate about the Burger King that they would want a Burger King card? I think he is just plain creepy. Whatever happened to the good old days Burger King didn’t look so creepy and he had his pal the Burger Thing with him?

My 11 year old son picked one of these cards for his friend today. The card says
On your birthday, the King might let you wear his crown, or at least touch his jewels.
Good thing we looked at the card before he gave it to the boy. That would have been very embarrassing for everyone. Amazing to see Burger King letting their brand and Character being used this way.
