Darth Vader & Yoda Shoes

January 17th, 2008 by Mr. Mai Tai

Needa  new pair of kicks?  Then I suggest the Adidas Darth Vader or Yoda sneakers.  They are a bit picey but can you put a price on Jedi Master and Sith footwear.  I don’t think so.

Olivia Munn

January 7th, 2008 by Mr. Mai Tai

I used to be a big fan of Tech Tv’s The Screen Savers.  Then G4 swooped in and changed the show.  Then it went through a complete overhaul and came back as Attack of the Show.  In an effort to get the geeks excited about the show they added some eye candy with the introduction of Olivia Munn.  Eye candy is fine but the show isn’t the same and I rarely if ever watch it any more.  Geeks also like Slave Leia so I am sure they love her as the new host.  If you want to see more Slave Leia’s check out Leia’s Metal Bikini There is a whole site devoted to the costume.

YumiModal Metal Pop Culture Statues

October 3rd, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

A family in Thailand runs these shops in that make great hand-made metal statues from scrap metal auto parts.  I am not a big fan of statues or sculptures but these are changing my mind.  They are great.  I especially like the Spider-Man and Star Wars Battle Driod sculptures.

Lego Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon

September 26th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

The Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon is Lego’s biggest set ever.  It has over 5,000 pieces.  You will need to be strong in the force to put this one together and make sure you don’t lose any pieces. It also carries a hefty price of $499.99.  That is dollars not republic credits.  That is pricey for little plastic blocks but possibly worth it considering the awesomeness of the item.

If you would like your own Lego Millennium Falcon head over to the Lego Store you can order one there.

Force Unleashed for Wii

September 25th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

The Force Unleashed is coming to the Wii.  Soon I will be able to wield my very own lightsaber.  I wonder if I will be able to make a Darth Maul double lightsaber by gluing two Wii remotes together.  That would be sweet.

Chewbacca Delivers Lightsaber to NASA

August 29th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai

Everyone’s favorite Wookie Chewbacca presented Nasa with Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber today.  The lightsaber is going on a space shuttle ride to commemorate Star Wars 30th Anniversary.

The Discovery astronauts will have a little something extra in their gear when the space shuttle blasts off in October: Luke Skywalker’s original Jedi Lightsaber.

As part of the “Star Wars” 30th anniversary celebration, NASA has agreed to carry the prop weapon into orbit and jettison it in space.

Scientists Puzzle Over Enormous Void

August 24th, 2007 by Mr. Mai Tai
Astronomers are scratching their heads over a puzzling non-discovery, an enormous hole in the universe measuring nearly a billion light-years across. There really is nothing to the void, which is empty of both normal matter such as stars, galaxies, and gas, and the mysterious, unseen “dark matter” that astronomers detect by its gravitational pull.

If the scientific community had consulted me I could have told them exactly what this is. It is a planet- most likely the planet Kamino where right now a grand army of the republic is being cloned from the genetic material of bounty hunter Jango Fett.
