This debuted at ComicCon.  The Lego Star Wars games were great.  I have high hopes for this one. 

In an earlier post I told you about the The Lazy Drinker. It looks like it has some competition with the Digital Beverages MyFountain XL. It looks a slicker and costs more money. I think a comparison should be done on both products and I hereby volunteer to test them.   

The Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak this weekend.  Last year I went outside to see the Perseid meteor shower.  I didn’t see a thing and got a stiff neck from looking up.  I better see something this year.   

The weather hazy, hot and humid.  Looks good for a launch.

I just have to wonder who would spend $7,000 on a flashlight?  It looks kind of weird and it is really bright but does that warrant a $7,000 price tag?  The only way I would pay $7,000 for a flashlight is if it could also emit UV rays.  That way I would have a really bright vampire slaying flashlight.  Now that would be cool and possibly worth $7,000.

I used to watch Morgan Webb when she was on TechTV.  Not as much now that she is on G4.  She now can also be found at http://www.webbalert.com/ which is billed as “Your Daily Tech Roundup” This is probably better than anything G4 currently has on.

Did you know that NASA has a department to make sure that spacecraft are clear of microbes and other nasties?  After all we wouldn’t want to introduce earth cooties on an unsuspecting alien planet.  On the flip side we won’t want alien nasties coming to earth.  I totally believe this could happen.  Spider-Man had extraterrestrial symbiotes come back to earth with him.  The Andromeda Strain had an alien virus.  Star Wars had mynocks chewing on the power cables.   If Spider-Man and Han-Solo can’t keep extraterrestrial hitchhikers away what chance do we have?

I entered my home address to find out my walkability. My walkability score=0. There are no services near my home. You need to drive everywhere. I already knew this but now I have proof positive.

This item seems perfect for me.  I am lazy and I like to drink.  The Lazy Drinker is a computer controlled cocktail dispensing system. I don’t know how well this works but I would like to try it. They come fully assembled or as a kit.  It can hold 16 ingredients and a computer mixes the ingredients so you have perfectly measured and blended cocktails each and every time. The drink database has over 5,000 drinks. It uses Co2 and pressured gas to mix the drinks. What a fantastic invention. I would like to hear from someone who has tried this to see how it works.
